About Martyn

I am a globally experienced Senior Executive & Management consultant with over 25 years experience shaping and leading operating model and workforce transformation in complex organisations across Australasia, Europe, United States, Latin America & Africa.  

I bring a wealth of expertise in the development & execution of organisational, workforce & people strategies; operating model design; transformational change leadership and organisation development.  

I have a proven track record of partnering with CXOs and Boards, both in my 17 years as a Management Consultant at Deloitte, and in senior leadership roles in industry with SABMiller, Fletcher Building and BNZ. 

I bring a breadth of sectoral experience, most notably with global private sector clients, including Wrigley, Gillette, BP Refining & Marketing, Castrol (BP Lubricants), and large national businesses, including BNZ. This enables me to draw on learnings, spot patterns and bring a different perspective from both within and outside the field of vision of the organisations I work with.  

In November 2020, I founded my own independent consulting business, continuing to work with global and large national clients on their operating model design and workforce transformation challenges. Recent clients include Fonterra, Air New Zealand, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Fisher & Paykel Appliances, NZ Post, University of Auckland, Genesis and TSB.
